The Hotel

Tucked away near the city centre, Oasia Hotel Novena is conveniently located next to Novena MRT Station. You’ll find that it’s easy to get to, yet secluded and tranquil enough to feel like an escape from the concrete jungle. It is also in the centre of the Velocity @ Novena Square and Square 2 malls, so you have a variety of dining and shopping options right at your doorstep. Having heard so much about the Club Room and its exclusive Club Lounge privileges, we naturally brought along much anticipation with us on our stay and we were definitely not disappointed. From the warm smiles of service staff to the free-flow evening cocktails available from 6pm to 8pm daily at The Living Room, it was really the nice little touches that made our stay at Oasia Hotel Novena extra special.

Your Room Choices

Deluxe Room - When we stepped into our room, we could not resist but collapse onto the queen-sized bed in the middle of the room. The sheets with a superior threadcount and uber plush pillows made us feel like we were sleeping on a nice fluffy marshmallow. With lots of sunlight shining through the huge bay windows and that lovely view, we just had to enjoy a nice cup of coffee made from the in-room automatic espresso machine.

The room above is a corner room, which is just one variation of the Deluxe Room category. Do check out the other variations before you book your stay to pick your favourite one!

We also spent a lot of time watching the cable channels on the 40” LED TV. The bathroom was equally inviting, with the glass panels letting the sunlight in. We just loved the rainshower and the audio tuner in the bathroom that allowed us to listen in on whatever was playing on TV.

Superior Room - The first thing we noticed when we stepped into this cosy 25-square-metre room were the huge bay windows with a bay bed. Depending on where your room is facing, you can enjoy either a view of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve or The Oasis swimming pool on Level 8.

The bay bed has an adjustable back-rest in some of the rooms so go ahead to bring it up and idle your time away on it while enjoying the wonderful view. We sure did!

Club Room - Designed by award-winning Japanese interior designer Takashi Sugimoto of Super Potato, the Club Rooms come with Nespresso® coffee-making facilities, spacious bathtub with rainshower, 46” LED TV with cable TV channels, complimentary in-room selection of healthy beverages, and premium bath amenities! All Club Room guests have privileged access to The Living Room and its pool on Level 22. Club guests can also enjoy complimentary breakfast, all-day coffee, tea, juices, soft drinks as well as evening cocktails, alcoholic drinks and canapes from 6pm to 8pm at The Living Room.

Club Suite - Entering the 50-square-metre Club Suite feels like walking into a penthouse in New York City. Take in the panoramic view of Singapore, recharge in the bath with a view of the city or just rest in the cosy bedroom with its warm cove lighting. Head down to The Living Room on Level 22 for complimentary bites or a swim in the pool exclusive for Club guests.

Stuff to do in the Hotel

The Living Room - Equipped with its own private pool and jacuzzi, you can enjoy these delectables right by the pool! All throughout the day, you can refuel with ice mint and cucumber cooling drinks or barista-served coffee, whichever you prefer.
Club Pool -Since The Living Room has its own private pool and jacuzzi, you can savour your delectables right by the poolside. The jacuzzi is also heated, so you will not have to worry about freezing while taking a dip in the evening. Located on Level 22, Club guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the Singapore city.
The Pool - The hotel’s main 20-metre lap pool is located on Level 8. There are plenty of deck chairs for you to laze on as well as 2 jacuzzis at either side should you want a massage.
The Gym - If you’re itching for a workout, the gym is equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes as well as weight machines. The best part? It’s open round the clock so you can get a workout any time of the day.
Sauna - When you are done with your swim or workout, relax in the Sauna, also conveniently located on Level 8.
The Marmalade Pantry - The Marmalade Pantry has been one of the popular go-to brunch places for locals, so how wonderful it is for the daily breakfasts, room service with a healthy selection, and all-day dining to be from this kitchen! A must-try is their famous cupcakes with award-winning flavours to choose from. In-room dining is available from 11am to 6am.

Other Great Things in the Area

Getting your Chicken Rice fix -Since 1989, Wee Nam Kee has been a popular haunt for Singaporeans to get their Hainanese Chicken Rice fix. Some say the Wee’s have only refined their tender chicken meat and fragrant rice recipes for almost three decades. On top of the Chicken Rice, there’s also other local Chinese dishes like Baby Kailan and Deep Fried Tofu to choose from.
Try local ice cream flavours at Udders - Udders is famous for its quirky ice-cream flavours like Hazel’s Nuts, Cereal Killer and Tira-Miss-U. But you should really try the local flavours that are only found here—Pulut Hitam, Horlicks Balls and Mao Shan Wang Durian to name a few. A perfectly sweet ending to a nice meal!
Shop for sporting wear at Velocity @ Novena Square - Velocity @ Novena Square is made up of many small shops, majority of which are selling sporting wear. Keep your eyes peeled as there are really good discounts offered from time to time. You may get lucky and get a real bang for your buck here! If sporting wear is not your poison, you can explore Square 2 which is connected to Velocity @ Novena Square.
