The impeccably decorated lobby manifests strong earthy tones while still staying minimalistic and easy on the eyes. The bright and welcoming sunlight coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows made us feel completely at ease as we received a welcome drink upon checking in.

Deluxe Rooms - A stay in The Outpost Hotel offers views for days! The hotel has Deluxe Rooms that come with three types of views: Sea View, Pool View and Island View.

The spacious and tastefully designed rooms are superbly decorated, with earthy tones that almost instantly relaxed us as we entered the premises. We loved the tall windows in the lobby and we were so thrilled to find that the rooms had the same floor-to-ceiling windows which provide ample natural light. Because of these, we often looked forward to basking in the beautiful natural allure of our room after a long day!

Sea View - We had the opportunity to stay in the Sea View room which was not only aesthetically pleasing, but offers an incredible view of the endless ocean! With the fringes of lush greenery in the forefront of the blue waters, the choice to stay in this room was our job well-done.

Aside from the complimentary minibar, there were also coffee capsules and the hotel’s heritage tea blends by Pryce Tea that was provided in the room. These bespoke teas are made specially for the hotel and come with interesting names like Palawan Dawn and Siloso Night which are inspired by Sentosa’s rich history!

The minibar is also personalised and we could choose the five items we wanted, including Hershey’s chocolate bars, Eumenthol jujubes and Tyrrell potato chips. Even the water was easily drinkable from the Hyflux Filtered Water Tap — talk about being pampered! And what’s relaxation without indulging in long showers and snuggling in the comfort of the big beds? The amenities from APPELLES Apothecary & Lab were not only soothing but they also leave you smelling so good!

While on vacation, we always make it a point to work on those extra calories we got from all the food indulgence. Luckily, The Outpost Hotel has a gym that is open 24 hours! The gym is equipped facilities including treadmills and weights. We also liked how there were fresh towels and filtered water available in the gym, so we only had to bring ourselves, and we’re good to sweat it out any time of the day!

With a well-appointed bar and three pools inspired by coastal habitats from across the globe, the Pool Deck is certainly one of The Outpost Hotel’s standout features. No matter where you decide to hang out, each spot is perfectly designed for spending quality time with your significant other.

The first pool we decided to idle in was the Lazy River Pool where we let the currents carry us along as we relish in the shade, away from the shining sun. We headed to the Pamukkale Pool after, a popular spot tagged as the best place in the premise to savour the sunset, and where cabanas awaited us.

Get your adrenaline pumping at Sentosa’s ultimate adventure destinations - Thrill-seekers are in for a treat! At Sentosa, you can choose from a wide selection of activities available at three ultimate adventure destinations: Megazip Adventure Park, AJ Hackett, and Ola Beach Club.

Head down to Mega Adventure Park and experience Asia’s longest zipline. Take in everything around as you zip from the jungles of Imbiah Hill to Siloso’s white sandy beach! Then, visit AJ Hackett and dare to bungee jump or try out the giant swing ride with your partner. Head to Ola Beach for some thrilling water activities too! Fly around with a water-propelled jetpack or take a ride on a banana boat.

The Royal Albatross, refitted 22 sails, looks like a classy European boat built just for the elite. But despite its lavish appearance, we were happy to find out that the experience didn’t break the bank for us interested diners!

You can choose between their sunset and night cruises, which offer different (but equally romantic) views of the Singapore skyline. Each cruise also comes with a three-course dinner and live onboard entertainment. In addition, adventure-loving couples like us may want to level up their cruise experience with a mast climb — that is, a 21-metre climb above the ship’s deck for even more impressive views of the skyline!
