The Far East Insiders Membership Program (hereinafter referred to as the “Program”) is for the use of properties operated by Far East Hospitality Holdings Ptd Ltd and its group companies (hereinafter referred to as “Far East Hospitality”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change as necessary for various reasons. We will notify you in advance of any material changes, but we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the end of these Terms and Conditions indicates the point in time when the update was made. Your continued use of the Program after the update constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms and Conditions.
1. Outline of the Program
The Program is a program that provides benefits and services to registered guests of the Program (hereinafter referred to as “Member(s)”) when they use the properties.
The properties to which the Program applies (hereinafter referred to as “Hotel(s)”) are as follows:
(1) Far East Village Hotel Yokohama
(2) Far East Village Hotel Tokyo, Ariake
(3) Far East Village Hotel Tokyo, Asakusa
Hotels may be added or deleted at Far East Hospitality's discretion.
The benefits and services of the Program are subject to change depending on circumstances in the country where the Hotels are located, the business environment, natural disasters, and other factors. We will try to notify Members in advance of any changes, but may notify them promptly after the fact depending on the circumstances.
2. Member Registration
Registration for the Program is free of charge. New Members shall create an account by providing the required information through the Far East Hospitality’s website or.
When registering as a Member, you must comply with the following:
(1) Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in the country or region of residence, if older than 18). Corporations and other organizations are not eligible for membership.
(2) When creating an account, you will be asked to enter information that matches your legally recognized identification. You may limit some information you enter, but this may limit the benefits and/or services you receive.
(3) You shall enter valid contact information.
(4) Only one e-mail address may be used to create an account.
(5) At any given time, a Member may maintain and use only one account in the Program.
(6) Only Members may use their accounts. Accounts cannot be shared with others and are not transferable.
(7) Far East Hospitality related parties (including Hotels and their employees) are not eligible to register.
3. Privacy
The personal information provided by Members when they register for the Program will be used by the Hotels worldwide. Therefore, personal information will be transferred from the country in which the Member resides to a third country.
Such personal information will be handled appropriately in accordance with Far East Hospitality Privacy Policy. For more information, please refer to this link.
4. Benefits
Members may receive discounted rates, priority access to limited-quantity sales, private offers, and more.
The benefits of the Program are available only when you are logged in to your account. Please be sure to log in to your account on our website in order to take advantage of the benefits. The discounted rate benefit is not available for reservations made through online travel booking platforms other than our website.
In addition, information about the benefits will be sent to the e-mail address registered by the Members. If you have changed your registered e-mail address, please change the settings in your account profile. We will not be held responsible for any Member who fails to make the correct change and does not receive our communications, even if the Member is not able to receive the benefits.
5. Membership Cancellation
If Member wishes to terminate their account, he/she may do so in person at the Program’s website or by contacting us at dpo@fareastorchard.com.sg.
Far East Hospitality reserves the right to cancel Member’s registration and void any benefits or services in the following cases:
(1) Member violated any provision of these Terms and Conditions;
(2) Member violated any national, local, or regional laws and regulations in the exercise of membership;
(3) Member provided false information or there was an act of impersonation during the account creation process;
(4) Member failed to provide and maintain valid contact information;
(5) Member violated the Terms of Use, Accommodation Clauses or other regulations of Hotels;
(6) Member committed an act of violence or harassment against a Hotel, its employees, or other guests;
(7) Member misused the Program or his/her account, or abused the benefits or services; or
(8) Member caused any damage to Far East Hospitality or any of the Hotels for any reason whatsoever.
If we cancel your registration, your account will be closed, all benefits associated with your account will be lost and no longer available.
6. Disclaimer
Members are responsible for managing their accounts. Far East Hospitality shall be exempt from all liability for any use of the authorized ID (e-mail address) and password for the account, whether or not such use is made by Member.
Far East Hospitality shall not be liable for any loss or damage to Member resulting from non-delivery of communications or notices from Far East Hospitality or loss or delay of mail or emails due to incorrect or invalid contact information provided by the Member.
Far East Hospitality shall not be liable if the benefits or services of the Program are not available to Member due to the laws and regulations of the country, region, or locality where the Member resides.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
Any dispute, controversy or difference arising out of, in relation to or in connection with this Agreement that Member and Far East Hospitality cannot settle amicably between themselves shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration to be conducted in English and seated in Singapore, in accordance with the arbitration rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. The arbitration shall be held with one arbitrator. The arbitration cost to be borne by each party shall be determined by the arbitration decision. The decision and award of such arbitration shall be final and binding and shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
