AMOY by Far East Hospitality Ranks #1 on trivago’s Top Hotels in Singapore

[Sydney, Australia] 19, November 2015 – Far East Hospitality (FEH) is pleased to announce that two of its Singapore properties have made the top ten in trivago’s Singapore Hotel Ranking 2016. AMOY has once again topped the illustrious list and the family friendly Village Residence Robertson Quay has come in at number seven.

AMOY is the only boutique hotel to make the list edging past notable international and Singapore-based hotel chains including Raffles Singapore and Capella Singapore.

Both the AMOY and the Village Residence Robertson Quay are extremely popular with Australian travelers who consistently give both properties positive reviews on trivago.

AMOY

AMOY was named after Singapore’s Fujianese people, who came from the Chinese city of the same name. AMOY displays a historically-rich backdrop of Chinese culture, with each of its 37 rooms named after surnames like Chen and Huang, and decorated with traditional furniture. AMOY also embraces and celebrates the migrant history of Singapore by incorporating a museum that traces the early footsteps of Chinese immigrants into the design and layout of the contemporary hotel – a feature the New York Times has called charming and calming. AMOY has created a vibrant “Old Meets New, East Meets West” theme for its guests with an interior that has been designed to mirror the life of Singapore’s early Chinese immigrants.
