Singapore, 30 April 2024 — Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s leading operator of hotels and serviced residences, has announced that seven of its hotels have been named the Best of the Best Hotels in Singapore at the annual TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2024.
One of the biggest winners of the awards is The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, a 40-room bespoke luxury hotel housed within two conserved colonial buildings. The hotel not only clinched the number one spot in the Best of the Best Hotels in Singapore category, but was also named number one in the Best Luxury Hotels in Singapore category.

Apart from The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, several other Far East Hospitality hotels made it to the list. The Outpost Hotel Sentosa — a trendy and adult-centric upscale hotel, made its debut in this year’s Travellers’ Choice Awards and was awarded the number five spot in this category. Following at number six is AMOY Hotel, a boutique hotel incorporating a museum that traces the footsteps of early immigrants from China.
Separately, The Clan Hotel Singapore, known for its modernity with a nostalgic history deeply rooted in Asian values, secured its place at number nine. Meanwhile, Quincy Hotel Singapore, exemplifying modern hospitality for social urbanites, and Oasia Hotel Novena Singapore, which offers respite for wellness-conscious travellers, claimed the 22nd and 23rd spots, respectively. Village Hotel Sentosa, a fun and vibrant hotel stay for families and urban travellers, also claimed the 25th spot in this category.
The Best Luxury Hotels in Singapore category
In addition to The Barracks Hotel Sentosa achieving the Top Spot, The Outpost Hotel Sentosa secured the fifth spot, while The Clan Hotel Singapore secured eighth position. Claiming the number 23 spot is Oasia Resort Sentosa, known as a sanctuary for healing and relaxation for travellers who value wellness and a well-balanced lifestyle.
TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards recognise hotels with the highest level of excellence in the travel industry, based on a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period. There were eight million listings on TripAdvisor, with fewer than 1% achieving such milestones.
