  • Far East Hospitality Wins Coveted International Hotel Award for Hotel Group Website Singapore

Singapore, 03 February 2015 – Far East Hospitality announced today that it has won the coveted International Hotel Award 2014 for Hotel Group Website Singapore for www.stayfareast.com, the company’s official website where visitors can in a single location book rooms for Far East Hospitality’s family of hotels and serviced residences, tours, access deals, and learn more about Singapore as a tourist location.

“To have won this International Hotel Award is a great honour as we were in competition with the finest hotels and hospitality companies in the world. This award is recognition for the great care and attention we take in ensuring our website www.stayfareast.com is attractive, informative and easy to use for guests and visitors. It is an important entry point for those deciding to stay with us, and we are delighted that our efforts to enhance the online experience of visitors have been recognised and rewarded,” said Mr Arthur Kiong, Chief Executive Officer of Far East Hospitality.

Far East Hospitality continuously updates www.stayfareast.com to increase ease of use. It has been enhanced to be mobile friendly, and local language sites in Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese have been added to cater to key markets. In addition, the aesthetics of the main landing page was improved to give greater prominence to important information and deals for guests.

Through www.stayfareast.com guests can book rooms with a best rate guarantee at Far East Hospitality’s hotels and serviced residences in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Denmark, Hungary and Malaysia, including award winning properties like AMOY and Rendezvous Hotel Singapore.

The International Hotel Awards were developed to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry throughout a wide range of areas. Besides various categories for hotels by size and type, there are also categories for best hotel architecture, construction, interior design, marketing and website.

Top hotels from 47 countries across the world were in competition for one or more International Hotel Awards, sponsored by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Winners had to prove they are the best nationally before competing against other top scoring hotels from across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Arabia, Africa and the UK.

Each entry was subject to extensive scrutiny by the International Hotel Awards’ judging panel, chaired by Sir David Michels, retired Chief Executive of the Hilton Group and currently President of both the Tourism Alliance and Institute of Hospitality.
