Where Nostalgia and Modern Luxury Meet: The Clan Hotel

Deeply connected to Singapore’s roots and legacy, The Clan Hotel Singapore is strategically situated at the corner of China Square, nestled in the nostalgic area of Singapore’s downtown financial district.

From the first step into the tastefully decorated lobby, guests will begin their exquisitely crafted journey;  An in-house tea master welcomes guests with an intimate ritual of serving curated tea blends, and guests who have booked personalised cultural tours like The Artisan Sauce Workshop or the Basic Chinese Calligraphy Workshop, get to explore the finer details of traditional local crafts.

Widely regarded as keepers of Singapore’s culture, the hotel's local partner artisans have created impeccable spaces and experiences for our guests, complete with the warmth of Singapore-inspired hospitality. Known as The Clan Collective, these craftsmen are master culinarian, savonnier, stylists, artists, and brewers. Witness the delicate handiwork displayed in elements throughout the hotel - from the staff uniforms to the art pieces adorning the hotel lobby and walls.

At The Clan Hotel, guests who book the MASTER Series rooms are treated to The Inner Circle, where the Clan Keepers curate their personalised experiences for a truly memorable stay. Acting as in-house advisors, the Clan Keepers can offer exclusive access to a trail of hidden cultural gems and experiential hotspots and unlock sweet experiences with partner merchants.

Homage to Singapore’s History at AMOY Hotel

Inspired by the stories of Singapore's early Chinese immigrants, the Zhangzhou people who migrated to Singapore, AMOY Hotel pays homage to the city’s trading history while serving as the preferred choice for today's modern traveller due to its convenient location and historical significance.

The first hotel in Singapore to incorporate a museum that traces the footsteps of the early immigrants, its entryway is set amongst shophouses leading to the hotel and the historic Fuk Tak Chi Museum. The lobby is also adorned with a fascinating collection of items from the turn of the century. The interiors of the hotel are designed to mirror the life, love and tribulations of Singapore’s Chinese diaspora, and Far East Hospitality kept these memories alive through the layout and furnishings of AMOY Hotel.

Each of the 37 smoke-free rooms is named after Chinese family names like “Chen” and “Huang”, an ode to the early migrants who lived around the area. Guests will find that no two rooms are alike -upon entering the room, they will be delighted with old Chinese touches such as the Chinese stools and porcelain basins as a sink in the bathroom. Even hotel staff adorn traditional cheongsams.

Guests looking to stay at AMOY Hotel can make inquiries to book a myriad of experiences and discover Singapore’s storied backdrop, such as the Tea Appreciation Workshop or The Lion City Bike Tour.
